Nectarine Cookies
- The ideal lunchbox snack
- Makes 12
Ingredients:
- 1 can condensed milk
- 120g butter
- 500g corn flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla, almond or rose essence
Garnish
- 3 to 4 very firm nectarines thinly sliced
- Castor sugar for sprinkling
Method

Preheat oven to 180 Deg C

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and knead into a ball.

Press the dough out onto a clean flat surface, cut into 12 even sized squares.

Press slices of nectarines onto the top of each cookie, sprinkle with caster sugar and place onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
Tip: these can be extra special drizzled with white chocolate.
