Plum Competition

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully.
By entering into the Plum competition, entrants agree to the rules set out below.

Eligible Contestants

The Plum Competition is conducted by SA Stone Fruit Producers Association (“the promoter”) in association with Impact Design CC and is open to everyone except the following people:
Directors, members, partners, agents, advertising and promotional agencies; employees or consultants of SA Stone Fruit Producers Association;

People who are not legal residents and legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa;
Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified above; And persons under the age of 18 years.

PLEASE NOTE: these terms and conditions contain certain provisions that appear in similar text style to this clause and may limit the risk or liability of the promoter or a third party, may create risk or liability for the participant, and/or may compel the participant to indemnify the promoter or a third party, and/or be an acknowledgment of a fact by the participant. The participants’ attention is drawn to these terms and conditions because they are important and should be carefully noted. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.

The participant acknowledges that by entering the competition he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before entering and he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.

All participants participate in the promotional competition entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the participant consents to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoter and all entities in the involved retail companies, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatsoever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and/or losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.


The Competition commences on 22 November 2021 and closes on 4 April 2022. Entries are limited to five entries per person per week.


The prizes comprise of:
Weekly prizes of a shopping voucher valued at R1 000.00 (One thousand Rand) from a participating store. The prizes will be awarded to the first correct entries drawn each week.
Winners will be advised by telephone on or within 7 days from the date of the weekly draw.
The winners names will also appear on the website www.juicydelicious.co.za

Entry Mechanism

To participate in the Competition, each participant must scan the QR code on the promotion sticker or leaflet, access the website competition page and enter the details required. An email confirming the entry will be sent to the entrant.

Entries may also be made by:

  1. Visiting the competition page on the website www.juicydelicious.co.za/win/  and completing the entry form.  Entrants must validate the entry by following our Instagram account @juicydelicioussa. An email confirming the entry will be sent to the entrant.
  2. Scanning the QR code on competition wobblers in store. Entrants must validate the entry by following our Instagram account @juicydelicioussa. An email confirming the entry will be sent to the entrant.

Notification of Winners

The prize winners will be notified telephonically within 1 week of the weekly draw. Upon receipt of the call the potential prize winner may be required to provide a work telephone number (if available) and a copy of their ID book and/or drivers licence to a representative from Impact Design CC. At the time of the telephone call, the potential prize winners may be required to answer up to five (5) questions about his/her eligibility. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to a runner-up finalist. The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are completed and submitted to Impact Design CC. In the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions by the potential prize winner, the prize will be forfeited and the runner-up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to all conditions herein.

The prize will be awarded in the form of a gift voucher from a participating store.This will be arranged by the organizers, Impact Design CC. The prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. No substitution or assignment of the prize is permitted.

Acknowledgment of Terms & Conditions

By entering the Competition, all participants agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by the promoter in its sole discretion.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Termination of Competition

The promoter reserves the right to terminate the Competition at any time. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the Competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the promoter, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
The promoter will not be held liable for any misinterpretation of the prize, rules and conditions or any specific part thereof.

Use of Personal Information

The promoter collects personal information about entrants including identification, contact and address information in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate, verify their identity to award the and deliver the prizes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act of South Africa.

Entrants who opt-in to receive future communications from the promoter will also be contacted for future promotions and promotions related to the promoter.
