Plum Splash

Jenny Morris, Plums

  • A delicious jug of summer to quench your thirst.
  • Serves 6 thirsty people

Ingredients

  • 6 large ripe red plums pitted and roughly chopped
  • ¾ cup caster sugar
  • 2 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 cup gin
  • Sparling water to top up

Method

  1. Place the plums, sugar, zest and gin into a blender.
  2. Blitz all the ingredients together.
  3. Pour over crushed ice in a pretty glass jug.
  4. Top up with Sparkling water.
  5. Stir in the chopped plums.

Garnish

  1. Chopped or sliced plums.
  2. Crushed ice.
